Accreditation of Competence in Esafety

ACE is a scheme to encourage primary school children from the ages of 7 - 11 to practice their digital skills, evidence what they do online and be rewarded when thy show that they can keep themselves safe in the online world.

Initially, children demonstrate their competance in a monitored learning environment.  By developing good behaviours, we believe that they will take these skills with them beyond their primary years into a less moderated world.

The programme is managed locally at school level and consists of a series of tasks children complete to show that they are becoming digitally aware. The tasks are organised into three levels :

Bronze  ~ showing awareness of how technology keeps you safe
Silver  ~ becoming more independent and managing a greater range of online activities
Gold  ~ presenting yourself well online and managing risk effectively anytime, anywhere

Remember there is no such thing as risk free ... its about minimising and managing the risk ~ and that is what the ACE scheme is all about!

The standard cost of the ACE scheme is £350, reduced to £250 for Enhanched Starz subscribers.

For non-Starz users we can help your school to build the activities into your existing learning platform. Charges on application.
