Cambridgeshire Art Challenge Schedule

Round 3 - Final Round

The competition culminates in a mixed age group final exhibition which tours three libraries, one in each area, ending in the Cambridge Central Library.  This final round is judged by a panel of judges. The judging process will be informed by comments posted by the general public. 

The competition ends with an awards ceremony at a central venue, with the prizes will be awarded to the overall winning entry, the winning entry from of the other each age categories and all finalists.

Round 2 - Areas Round: Complete

For each age group in the three areas: North Cambs., Huntindonshire and South Cambs, the judging panel selects thirty entries. These are exhibited as a travelling exhibition visiting three libraries for two weeks across each area.  Age specific area exhibitions take place at half termly intervals. 

At each library exhibition, the general public vote for their favorite art works.  The three art works that gain most votes from the each age specific area exhibition will progress to round three (i.e. nine in total for each age group).

Round 1 - Schools Round: Complete

Each school selects and submits a maximum of ten art works from each age group. These are forwarded to an initial judging panel.
