What is it?

The Cambridgeshire Art Challenge is an exciting new competition for all pupils from FS – KS4 attending Cambridgeshire schools. The competition is funded by Cambridgeshire Culture for Children and Young People and is delivered in partnership with Cambridgeshire Library Service.

What are the prizes?

£100 - Overall winner + £50 For the winners of each other age group.
All finalists will receive a boxed mug displaying their name and picture.
Images of the overall winner and four other age specific winning entries will be displayed on CCC Library buses and the winning entries will be displayed at Shire Hall for the duration of one term.

Theme: Me, Myself, I

The theme encourages pupils to look at themselves, their friends, their environment etc. as it is now, as it might be in the future or as they would like it to be if anything was possible.

Skill focus: Drawing from imagination / observation

Media: Pupils may use any drawing media or combination of drawing media. They may use any type of paper, white, coloured, rough or smooth.

Size of artwork: Each entry should not be smaller than A4 or larger than A3. Framed or mounted entries will not be accepted.
