The Starz blog is a facility in the personal space of every user.
It is an editable space enabling users to record things, using a text and drawing tool, with each entry automatically showing the date.
Here are some examples of "Katie" using her blog with her family.

 Talk about an experience with your child, encouraging them to use descriptive words about when it happened: When was it? What did they see or do? How did it make them feel.

Let your child express themselves through drawing or the text tool. It may be tempting to stop them at a poin that you feel it "looks right", but try to resist the temptation - even if the finished piece gets deleted!

Use the text tool to 'scribe' your child's description as a brief summary or use the comment tool to add your own comment to their blog entry.

Look at the "My Work" area where there is a recording tool if you have a camera and / or microphone attached to your computer. Items in the "My Work" area can then be "published to homepage" similar to a blog entry:

NB. Others, including staff may add their own comments to blog entries. Comments and blog entries can be deleted.
